Cultivate the supple strength of bamboo. Develop ease and strength in both your body and your nervous system with this masterclass focusing on backbends. Barbra will teach you how to take the stress out of deep backbends, develop resilience and even find comfort in the poses we find most intense.


Barbra will lead two alignment focused sessions Sunday 18 February. The first class, Bamboo Backbends, focuses on pain free backbends and the second class Healthy Hips will have a therapeutic approach to hip-openers.

About Barbra Noh

Barbra Noh has been a student of movement her whole life. She is an internationally recognised yoga teacher who loves to share her passion for health, healing and personal growth.


With close to 20 years’ experience she is a leading educator for yoga teachers. Additional to her highly regarded alignment focused teacher trainings she is also co-founder of a healing system that integrates yoga, Ayurveda and bodywork: ThaiVedic Yoga.


Barbra began her movement training as a child in Australia and became a professional dancer at the age of 18. Yoga and meditation changed her life, giving her tools to work with her mind, heal her body and nourish her spirit. Now based in Munich/Germany, she travels internationally to offer workshops, lead retreats and
present at conferences.


Her classes are physically challenging, mentally stimulating, and emotionally uplifting. Her warmth, humour and love for yoga inspire students to reach new heights. Her precise and structured approach to teaching makes complex material accessible and enjoyable to learn. Her down to earth yet profound approach to
philosophy helps cultivate an attitude that makes physical practice a tool for spiritual expansion.


Barbra believes the transformational techniques and teachings of yoga empower and encourage us in our quest to sense our worthiness and live our full potential. Her book “Yoga – mit Kraft und Anmut Leben” (Theseus Publishers) was published in 2015. The English edition, “Yoga – A Life of Strength and Grace” will be released in 2019.
