30 Mar YOGA NIDRA BY JAMES REEVES
“Yoga that restores your mind, body and senses tot their natural state of harmonious, restful being.”
iRest Yoga Nidra calms the nervous system and develops a deep capacity to meet and be at ease within the circumstances we encounter in life. It is a research-based transformative practice of deep relaxation and meditative inquiry that releases negative emotions and thought patterns. I help people connect with their truest self. The practise is born out of traditional yoga, meditation and relaxation techniques.
I use modern research-based methods proven to effectively reduce depression, anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, PTSD and chemical dependency. It helps you to live free from fear, break out of negative thought processes and emotional cycles, and ease physical discomfort.
It is a practice especially for those who are interested in discovering their home-ground of wellbeing and exploring the depths of the word ‘yoga’: to feel at one with everything. During my workshop I will introduce the 10 steps of iRest Yoga Nidra, taking time to explore each component of the practice through a mix of explanation and experience.
I also train yoga teachers and therapists wanting to broaden their skills base. Whether your interest in yoga nidra is for personal or professional reasons, you can expect to leave the workshop feeling deeply restored, renewed and equipped with the tools to find a new level of deep rest and the ability to ‘let go’. So whether you’re wanting to be more comfortable in your body, learn more about your self, find the next step in your yogic or meditative journey, or broaden your career, Yoga Nidra can help.

James Reeves interest in yoga nidra was sparked during his first ever yoga class when the closing relaxation left him feeling a profound sense of interconnectedness and wholeness – an unexpected discovery that led to many years of self enquiry and in-depth study with master yoga nidra teachers around the world. Now James shares his knowledge globally, guiding his students into the depths of this life-changing practice, enabling them to discover for themselves their deepest, wisest self – already healed, already whole, already healthy and already awakened. http://www.restfulbeing.com
